The Kiwanis Club of Cypress was established in April 2023 to ensure our community maintained a dedicated advocate for local children and students. Born out of a desire to keep the spirit of Kiwanis alive in our area, our club provides a consistent support system for the youth of Cypress and the surrounding schools.
What We Do
We believe that a strong community is built by people who show up for one another. That’s why we are so proud to present our Adult Public Service Award. This award is our way of saying “thank you” to a special member of our community who works tirelessly to make life better for everyone around them. We are lucky to have such dedicated neighbors in Cypress, and we are thrilled to celebrate their commitment to helping others thrive! We believe that a strong community is built by people who show up for one another, and that includes our amazing young leaders! Working alongside our local Key Clubs is easily one of our favorite parts of being a Kiwanian. We are so proud to provide the support they need to grow, from giving grants for leadership training at LEDCON to awarding annual scholarships to graduating seniors. We also love jumping in to help with their own projects, especially special events like the incredible Rally for Lally fundraiser. It is truly an honor to watch these students thrive and serve right here in our Cypress community!
Our Community Partners
We believe that we are stronger together. Our club works side-by-side with several vital local organizations to provide essentials and support to those who need it most. You will find our members actively engaged with:
Cy-Fair Helping Hands
Sleep in Heavenly Peace (Local Chapter)
Camp Hope
Wreaths Across America
Whether we are assembling beds, organizing donation drives, or hosting our annual Music Bingo Fundraiser (which recently raised nearly $7,000!), our goal is to show up for our neighbors in practical, meaningful ways.
Building Future Leaders
In addition to our community-wide projects, we are proud to sponsor and support the Key Clubs at Tomball High School, Katy Jordan High School, and Fort Bend Travis High School, helping students discover the power of service.
A Club That Fits Your Life
We are a casual, growing group that values both service and fellowship. We welcome community-minded individuals from all stages of life—from young adults to retirees—who want to give back to the Cypress area.
When We Meet: The second Thursday of every month.
Where We Meet: Spring Creek Barbeque (21746 Tomball Pkwy, Houston, TX 77070).
Our Rhythm: We meet monthly with a break over the summer. We also host at least one active service project each month, with a flexible schedule in December to account for busy family and school holidays.
